Sometimes when we look at tings from one lens we fail to look at the consequences in its totality.

For me, this is a new version of SecondLife, a game I loved playing back in the day.

The whole argument for Metaverse fails me for the simple reason this is Zuck 2.0 and they already made a mockery of democracy with fake news and messed up our society.

Whats at stake is the very morality and ethics, the last bit left in our society. Recently, a woman was groped in this Metaverse. I see a lot more of this happening and getting far worse.

So, it's another money making ploy at the cost of the people and of society. Sure, there will be crumbs left for the decentralised web...
